Une nature d'exception

The “étangs” (here manmade lakes originally created for fish farming) vary in size and aspect. Some are surrounded by large reedbeds favourable to various herons (Purple Heron, Little Bittern) and wetland warblers (Reed and Great Reed Warblers, Savi's Warbler…); other lakes have important areas of Water lilies, much favoured by Whiskered Tern and Black-necked Grebe for nesting
All host many migratory or wintering birds.
